Writer and Creative Storyteller
When I was in third grade, I wrote a story about Wally Walnut and Tricia P. Nut (and of course they had head shapes to match). It’s the first time I remember authoring a story, and ever since then, I’ve been hooked. I love writing.
I’ve had the opportunity to write professionally across many genres, formats, and clients. Each role taught me something valuable about writing well.
Working in news taught me how to write fast and conversationally. Working at Golf Channel taught me how to write within time boundaries and how to sell through words. I learned how to work with clients, follow a brand guide, and ultimately deliver a final product that exceeded the client’s expectations. Writing and self-publishing my first book taught me about proper grammar, picking a style guide, editing, editing again, then editing some more. Blogging taught me how to tell stories in a way that inspire people. Building my own brand made me passionate about branding, consistency, and cohesiveness.
